What different forms of government evolved in ancient greece

Democracy and republic. Ancient Greece was the first country to have the citizens, free Athenian men, vote to create and pass laws. Most countries at that time were monarchies. There were some democracies were people had to have land and be rich to vote. Later, Rome was influenced by this idea of democracy and changed it to be a republic.
