The length of a rectangular field is 30 more than twice its width. Write an expression in simplest form for the perimeter of the field in terms of its width w.

The length of the field would be Length= 2w+30
(w=Width)
So you would do 2(2w+30)+2w.
Simplifying this would give you:
4w+60+2w
This can be simplified further:
6w+60
