Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) of 1976 is an amendment to the Solid Waste Disposal Act of 1965 that regulates the generation, transportation, treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous wastes, and provides guidelines for managing of non-hazardous waste. As a compliance for this Act, soldiers conduct police calls for collection and disposal of solid waste.
