Serial repetition of segments is a defining characteristic of ANNELIDS.
Phylum Annelids is made up of worms which can be found either in water or on land. Those that live on land live in burrows. The mode of feeding of these worms varies; they can be scavengers, carnivores or blood s.uckers. The activity of worms that live in the soil increase the fertility of the soil.
