u have to common factor that add up to -5 but times to 4 so basically the answer would be (x+5)(x-1)= 0 then you would get
x+5=0
x-1=0
both x’s are going to be different and have to equal to zero
x=-5
x=1

for the other one u just have to get two number that multiply to -49
x^2=-49
u square root the -49 and get -7 but u have to have both a positive and negative for 7
so
x=-7
x=7
