The answer is how your perform in the world every day.
According to him, intelligence is not only about our capability to learn new things, but also how we use what we learn to make our life easier every day. For example, getting straight A's for all subjects in school wouldn't be as much useful as mastering a single subject and already paid for works to do subject related jobs.
