2x + y - 4 = 0.....2x + y = 4
2x - y - 4 = 0.....2x - y = 4

2x + y = 4
2x - y = 4
--------------add
4x = 8
x = 8/4
x = 2

2x + y = 4
2(2) + y = 4
4 + y = 4
y = 4 - 4
y = 0

solution is (2,0)
