i would say the answer is C) dense coverings of pine trees because this biome of the boreal forests is a climate in which the pine trees can grow and live in.

Hint: it is a good source for timber harvesting.

so the answer is dense coverings of pine trees.

Boreal forest also known as "taiga" are dense coverings of pine trees. These are also called "coniferous" trees because of the pine cones they produce. Boreal forest are found northern Canada, Sweden, Norway, and northern Russia.
