Barbiturate is a sedative drug that will cause central nervous depressant. In withdrawal, the symptoms would look opposite of the drug effect. The patient might be agitated and feeling restlessness.
The patient might develop dangerous symptoms that need to be examined soon such as confusion or muscle twitching. If that happens, you need to notify the healthcare provider of the client's status.
