Solve the following 4 problems by distributing and combining like terms for each problem. Please show all work. (DO NOT SOLVE FOR X)

1.) -2(x + 5) - 7 = 3x + 2(x - 5)
2.) 3(4x + 2) - 6x = 5x - 5(2+ x)
3.) 5(6x - 1) - 10x + 5 = 4(x + 10) - 4x
4.) -6(4 - x) + 12 = 3x - (x - 4)

(DO NOT SOLVE FOR X)

1.) -2(x + 5) - 7 = 3x + 2(x - 5)
-2x - 10 - 7 = 3x + 2x - 10
-2x -17 = 5x - 10
-7x = 7

2.) 3(4x + 2) - 6x = 5x - 5(2+ x)
12x + 6 - 6x = 5x -10 - 5x
6x + 6 = -10
6x = -16

3.) 5(6x - 1) - 10x + 5 = 4(x + 10) - 4x
30x - 5 -10x + 5 = 4x + 40 -4x
20x = 40

4.) -6(4 - x) + 12 = 3x - (x - 4)
-24 + 6x + 12 = 3x -x + 4
6x - 12 = 2x + 4
4x = 16
