Why should experiments be replicable

It allows others to discover errors, confirm results, and further the investigation.  Experiments can have many things go wrong or differing results.  There are factors such as human error, environmental factors, etc.  Another reason is that it is important for others to have the knowledge and information to see what previous scientists have done in the past.  For example, if there is a new drug, it needs to be continuously tested over and over again, before it can be sold and used by the public.
