Many peptic ulcers had been attributed to an organism specifically a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori or are commonly known as H. pylori. It is common in the gastrointestinal tract but an overgrowth will cause ulcers. It attacks the lining of the stomach and intestines that causes ulcers and cancers for some people.
