The haploid stage of plasmodium I did observe by using the micrograps is what you called a stage of malaria. These red blood cells have been invaded by plasmodium merozoites, a stage of malaria. There are several stage of malaria, The first stage is the stage of infection and the second stage is the sexual reproduction that divide into two; the pre- erythrocytic and erythrocytic phase.
