solstício é o momento em que o Sol, durante seu movimento aparente na esfera celeste, atinge o seu maior afastamento em latitude, da linha do equador. revolução remete para o movimento circular em torno de um eixo fixo, sendo que o objeto em questão volta ou passa pela sua posição inicial.

A revolution is a full trip around the sun, whilst a solstice is when day and night have equally same hours. Also solstices happen twice every revolution or year.
