Dysplasia of the hip may occur due to congenital malformation of the hip joint during fetal development. This condition can be caused by multiple factors. One can be genetic factor as it be pass down from genes to genes. Others are more on the pregnancy stage of the mother like low amniotic fluid in the womb and breech position of the baby (meaning hips first during birth).
