After going home depressed from a friend's funeral, he thought of having a funeral for himself but is done while he is alive. A living funeral is an activity wherein he is able to hear all the things from friends family while he is still able. He thought that it is a waste when the person ought to hear those wonderful words would not be able to hear it. He called his friends and family to participate in the activity.
