A pound = 16oz
Half a pound = 8oz
16 + 8 = 24
|| || ||
1lb 1/2lb 1 1/2 lbs
6.40/2 = 3.20
6.40 + 3.20 = 9.60
Your answer is 9.60

Since a ounce = pound is 16=1 so convert 24 ounces into pounds which is 1.5 pounds so multiply 6×4 by 1×5 and get $9.6 dollars for 24 ounces of the spread.
