f(x) + f(g)
= 4x^3 - 6x - 10 + 2x^2 -6x + 4
= 4x^3 + 2x^2 - 12x - 6

combine all the like terms

4x^3 + 2x^2

then you have -6x-6x which = -12x and -10+4 = -6

so it becomes 4x^3+2x^2-12x-6

Answer is A
