I wrote an introduction for an essay I have due. I wanted to know what, if anything, I should change/add/ to it.

Starts here:

Honesty is the best policy. This proverb is very well-recognized by many people around the world. One might question the reliability of the saying, but one thing is for certain. Being honest, regardless of the consequences, will always be the better option as it builds a reputation of credibility and avoids guilt caused by lying.
