During the economic system of manorialism the lifelike of the nobles and peasants was that under manorialism, a lord owned a land which he allows peasants and serf to work on. This made everyone feel unsafe. The harvest has to be shared with the lord of the manor. In return to his peasants, the lord would grant them protection and economic services.
