All u have to do is find the degree and like terms Ex; a.) 3(x+4)  the degree here is 0 because there is no exponent, And the number of terms there are is 2 which is a binomial because it has two like terms such as 3x + 4                                         hope this helped((:

Outer ("outside" terms are multiplied—that is, the first term of the first binomial and the second term of the second)
Inner ("inside" terms are multiplied—second term of the first binomial and first term of the second)
Last ("last" terms of each binomial are multiplied)
