They were both causes of the American Revolution due to how they both angered colonists and limited the rights the people had. They both increased taxes that didn't even go back into their government. It went to Great Britain. The French and Indian war angered colonists also due to the fact that once the war was over the colonist thought they would be able to travel west but they weren't allowed to.
