Since angles 1 and 2 are supplementary, then we know they add to equal 180°. We also know that both angles are congruent. By the given information, we can find that both angles 1 and 2 are right angles. This is because 180/2=90 and a 90° angle is better known as a right angle. That is the only statement that will always be true with the given information. Angles don't have to be adjacent for them to be supplementary, we don't know the location of the angles, so they might be vertical angles, but that might not always be true, and it says the angles are supplementary, so they couldn't be complimentary.
