Why do temperature, velocity, and smoke concentration affect firefighting?

temperature- it ids hot and it makes it harder to move around while ur sweating ur butt off
velocity- in ur gear it is hard to move around. especialy in tiny areas
smoke consitration- idk bc u have masks....
