The word, which I interpret the Flying or Floating Island, is in the original Laputa, whereof I could never learn the true etymology. Lap, in the old obsolete language, signifies high; and untuh, a governor; from which they say, by corruption, was derived Laputa from Lapuntah.   Which word or words from the passage above illustrates original diction? I. “Floating Island” II. corruption III. “Lapuntah”

The word which represents original diction is LAPUNTAH.
An original diction refers to a word that its primary meaning can only be obtained from the language from which it is derived. An original diction may be mistaken for a different meaning if one is not familiar with the language from which it is derived. This is what happen to Gulliver in the passage given above.
