Several diseases are directly related to specific genetic information. Other diseases, are influenced by different genetic aspects and, many times, by epigenetic factors as well. Although, there are several others that are not related with any genetic information, or are, but not only, they also depend on genes responsible for correcting mutations.
Taking into account all of this, genetic makeup of human beings is definitely closely associated with their diseases.
