The ancient Indus and Egyptian Valley were governed by dynasties. The sassanid dynasty in Persia, which was one of the dynasties to arise after the collapse of the empire of Alexander the Great, proves to be a dynasty similar to that of the Chinese. Talking about the the Gupta in India, they were considered also dynastic rulers. Chandra Gupta I was trace in the earliest dynasty and she passed the dynasty to her son Samudra Gupta and rulling the family of the Gupta. They spanned the history of China.
