Because in historical accounts, no one is sure about what happened. And of course, there's bias in every account that there is, some in favor of the native Americans, and some in favor of the British.

For example, one in favor of the Native Americans might say how brutally the British invaded their territory, yet one in favor of the British might say how the British helped the Native Americans through hard times and brought new technologies.
