With the correct form of talk, write a sentence containing a present participial phrase.

Two old friends sat on a park bench, talking about the past.

I think the "ing" ending is what makes a verb a present participial. Hiking, walking, talking, sharing, writing, etc.

Hope I helped :)

Answer:

I am talking to a friend.

Step-by-step explanation:

The present participle makes all six of the progressive forms, which include,:

I am talking;

I was talking;

I will be talking;

I have been talking;

I had been talking;

Will have been talking.

So, in the end, if you add "to a friend" to the end of any of these sentences, you will have a sentence that correctly uses present participle.
