Write an equation for the line parallel to the given line that contains C. C(3,7);y=-2x+7

Parallel lines slope are the same. Slope of parallel line is -2.

y=mx+b (put value of c and slope to find b)
7=-2x3+b
7=-6+b
7+6=b
13=b

Therefore the equation is y=-2x+13
