The answer is A.Scott Ftzgerald wrote Ecoes of the Jazz Age Back in November 1931.He does not associate jazz age with music but with the sense of freedom men and women chose to lead their lives. He thought it was too soon to talk about an age without having the right perspective.Among many other things he pointed out that in the most powerful nation the jazz age was an age of excess, art, miracle and satire.
