250 ml of water would boil at 212°F (equivalent 100°C). 1000ml of water would also boil at 212°F (equivalent 100°C). This is to say the quantity of water is not relevant to the boiling temperature of water. The boiling point similar to the freezing point of a substance is an intensive quantity due to the fact that it is the same for all quantities of that substance, and will neither increase nor decrease with an increase or vice versa in the amount of the substance (in this case water).
