The Confucian classic viewed natural disaster such as floods or earthquakes as evidence of the poor political decision. Central to Confucianism is that the moral harmony of the individual is directly related to cosmic harmony; what one does affect the other. Between the physical and the moral evidenced is the example of direct correlation.
