Louisbourg was to French. Halifax is a bank in the British operating s a trading division of Bank of Scotland, itself a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group. And it is also named after the town of Halifax. Louisbourg on the other hand was a National Historic Site of Canada and the location of a one-quarter partial reconstruction of an 18th-century French fortress at Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. ... The fortifications eventually surrounded the town.
