The office of the freedmen was a historical pioneer because it was created for humanitarian aid to the former slaves and the formation of schools for blacks in the South. Its original name was the office of refugees, freedmen and abandoned lands and was founded in 1865 by the federal government. I represent an important work in society and was a great contribution to humanity.
