a^2 + b^2 = c^2.....a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse
41^2 + 40^2 = c^2
1681 + 1600 = c^2
3281 = c^2...take sqrt of both sides, eliminating the ^2
sqrt 3281 = c
57.28 ...rounds to 57 = c

so the 3 sides of ur triangle are 57,41,and 40. The perimeter is all three sides added together. So the perimeter is : 57 + 40 + 41 = 138 ft <==
