Your answer is: -33
Here is my work:
3a^2-4|a|+6
Input -3:
=3*(-3^2)-4|-3|+6
Remove parentheses:
=3*3^2-4|-3|+6
Apply exponent rule:
=3*3^2=3^3
Apply absolute rule:
=4*3
Multiply the numbers:
=4*3=12
Bring them together:
=-3^3-12+6
Refine:
=-33
