Is this right here's what I did just in case you don't understand my rewriting

43,000. =43
43x 1,000
=43 x10^3 is this right or wrong this is scientific notion

it looks to be right so you should be good just get some other peoples word on it

43,000 = 43 x 1000
as you know 1000 = 10^3
so
43,000 = 43 x 10^3

but in scientific notion , should be
43,000 = 4.3 x 10^4
