Catalase is found in many living organisms and hydrogen peroxide is a product of the cellular metabolism of organisms. Their relationship is that the catalase exerts decomposition reaction of hydrogen peroxide in water and oxygen and hydrogen peroxide is the product of cellular metabolism with a toxic potential that is transformed by the catalase. Catalase is the enzyme and is found in most living organisms.
