The y intercept occurs when x = 0:-
y-intercept is -1/2(0) - 4 = -4 answer
x0intercept is found by putting y = 0:-
0 = -1/2 x - 4
1/2 x = -4
x = -8 answer
To draw the graph plot the points (-8,0) and (0,-4) and draw a straight line through these points.
