What can you learn from Lincoln’s address about his attitude toward the South, the apparent losers in the conflict, and the North, the apparent winners?

Lincoln is obviously very biased toward the north and proud that his side won. However he maintains an air of professionalism and states several very clear and positive effects of the war.
