Sumerian cities were characterized by some narrow, unpaved streets, protective walls, and homes made of mud-bricks.

The Sumerian used to live in the Mesopotamia, during the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze ages.

The buildings in Sumerian cities were made up of mud-bricks and to build them it was necessary the use of sand, water, mud and straw-like materials.

They lived along the valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates.
