14 + 3n = 8n - 3(n - 4)

I feel like the easiest way to find out how many solutions it has is to simply solve the equation.

So, simplify the equation.

14 + 3n = 8n - 3n + 12

Combine like terms.

14 + 3n = 5n + 12

Subtract 14 from both sides.

3n = 5n + 12 - 14

Subtract 5n from both sides.

3n - 5n = 12 - 14

Simplify.

-2n = -2

Divide both sides by -2.

n = 1

Therefore there is only one solution to this problem.

~Hope I helped!~
