There are many varying physical properties used to identify a pure substance. Some of the most prevalent physical properties are color, odor, density, melting and freezing points and solubility.

Answer:

Solubility is a chemical property which is used to distinguish matter (solid, liquid and gas). It is the ability of a matter to dissolve solute in it. When maximum amount of solute gets dissolved, saturated solution is formed. Solubility of a matter also depends on the factors like Temperature and pressure.
