The volume of a cube is given by s^3. So the volume of this block is 3cm x 3cm x3 cm = 27 cm^3. density = mass/volume =27 g / 27 cm^3 = 1 g/cm^3.

Density = mass/volume

The volume is equal to height x lenght x width, or in your case; 3 x 3 x 3 which would equal 27^3 cm.

Now that we know both the volume and mass, we divide it:
27/27 = 1 !!!

The answer is 1 g/cm ^3

Hope it helps!
