How did the Treaty of Versailles help pave the way for the Nazi party to gain control of Germany?

The Treaty of Versailles left Germany weak so when the charismatic leader Aldolf Hitler came promising a return to power and giving the Germans someone to blame for their misfortune (the jews) he easily rose in power forming the nazi party.
