How do you think camels might be affected if they didn't have humps?

Well, when a camel doesn't eat it loses energy, the fatty tissue on the hump supplies the camel with it when its hungry giving the missing energy. They wouldn't be able to carry things either because of the lack of energy without the hump.

Camels store fat in their humps, so when food is scarce they can use the fat to keep them from starving. So without it, the camel could possibly starve.
