Listing out the multiples for each number will get you 306 for both.
51: 51+51+51+51+51+51 = 306
18: 18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18+18 = 306
51*6=306
18*17=306

LCM is 3 because
3x17=51
