What is the best historical evidence to refute an argument about the phrasing of the original constitution

The best historical evidence would be to use an actual copy of the Constitution (a handful exist) and look to see what the exact phrasing was on those documents. This would give a first-hand account that would be able to refute any false claims made about what was in the Constitution.
