r=1.5m
area of a semicircle=(
\pi r^(2))/2
therefore the area = 3.535

area of a full circle = PI*r^2

r = 3/2 =1.5

using 3.14 for pi

3.14 *1.5^ = 7.065 square meters

a semicircle is half of a circle so now divide7.065 by2

7.065/2 = 3.5325 square meters, round answer as needed
